Two teenagers were violently assaulted in a violent home invasion in the middle of the night, one boy stabbed and another hit with a hammer

Emergency services were called to a house on Purser Avenue, Castle Hill, northwest Sydney, at 1 a.m. on New Years Eve

Officers learned that seven men armed with an ax, knife, hammer and gun entered the house and threatened those inside.

Another person, 17, was in the back yard when the group of men broke in and were brutally hit on the head with a hammer

Police are looking to speak to seven men who may be able to help them with their investigations
