Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 73, and Prince Charles, 72, visited Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham today to thank volunteers who are undertaking clinical trials for the Covid vaccine- 19 This is the first time the couple have undertaken an in-person royal engagement this year and the Duchess opted for a brightly colored coat
The Duchess stepped out in a vibrant coat with touches of electric blue, black and red
She chose to keep the room closed, with black buttons in the middle of the coat
She has been seen wearing it several times before, making her debut in 2015 while touring the Craft Guild
A year later, she was pictured there again as she participated in a mini literature festival in Peterborough Cathedral
The Duchess recently wore the jacket in December during a visit to the Gloucestershire vaccination center
She paired the knee-length coat with a pair of high black boots, the same ones she wore today
Black boots are a staple of Camilla’s wardrobe and she’s worn this exact pair many times
Camilla’s little black bag is from DeMellier London and is known as the Mini Venice style
It’s priced at £ 250 and is made from calfskin and can be worn across the body, over the shoulder, or worn by its small handle on the top, which Camilla opted for today
The royal is a big fan of the bag and also has it in racing green and cream
Fans took to Twitter to express how happy they were to see the couple again
Another wrote: “Great to see them outside! Hope we see the Cambridges and other active royals soon”
The Black Watch Tartan coat is from McQ, a diffusion line from one of his all-time favorite brands, Alexander McQueen
