Ebene News – GB – Phil from EastEnders tells Sharon to sell the Vic or he will go to jail

The Carters could regain control of the Queen Vic, following Max Branning’s blackmail of Phil Mitchell at EastEnders

As Thursday’s episode (February 18) coincided with the 11th anniversary of Bradley Branning’s death, Max (Jake Wood) opened the installment with a melancholy conversation with his ex Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner)

Stacey mentioned that little Abi looks a bit like Bradley, then let Max keep a photo of Bradley that she had in her purse. However, Max accidentally dropped the photo in the street when he had to take a phone call from Phil (Steve McFadden)

Max quickly found himself in more trouble when he inadvertently revealed to Linda (Kellie Bright) that he had heard about Mick Carter’s abuse complaint to the police from his brother Jack (Scott Maslen )

Later at Branning’s house, Jack returned home right after Max made Phil understand that he was running out of time to drive the Vic back to Mick, or he would hand his evidence USB drive to the cops.

After Phil ran away, an enraged Jack revealed to his brother that he was suspended because Linda had made a formal complaint to his boss Jack rushed to the Carters to apologize to Mick, insisting he had only told Max to get his brother to see that his affair with Linda was over for good

“Do you have any idea what it took to get into that police station and knock my guts out?” Mick asked “The pain it took to unearth all this?”

Mick angrily dismissed Jack when Linda arrived, shocked that the detective had spoken to his wife about her complaint Even after Linda tried to explain that she had no feelings for Max, Mick s ‘is set to settle things with his romantic rival once and for all

The two faced off at the Vic, where Max told Mick in front of the whole pub that Linda was only staying with him out of “pity”

Meanwhile, upstairs at the Vic, Phil tried to convince Sharon to relinquish control of the Vic

“If you don’t sell, I’ll go to jail,” he warns “If Max uses the evidence he has, I’ll stick around for a long time But if you sell the Vic he’ll destroy the file

“I can’t force you to do this, but if you care about me, if you care about me at all, you’ll sell the Vic”

With Max’s release imminent, the conflict will end tomorrow evening (February 19)
