Spencer, son of Piers Morgan, has revealed that he managed to’ escape ‘Level 4 restrictions by going to his family’s home in Sussex

New restrictions came into effect in London and the south-east on Sunday in an attempt to control the spread of a new strain of coronavirus

Those in level 4 have seen Christmas bubbles canceled, as they are now prohibited from mixing households during Christmas time and must stay at home

People in levels 1, 2 and 3 are now only allowed to mingle with another household on Christmas Day, with the original plan for bubbles from up to three households being allowed to mingle between the 24th and 28th December being scrapped

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement outlining the new rules on Saturday, many Level Four members headed elsewhere before the new restrictions were implemented a day later

Spencer, 27, revealed he managed to avoid being at Level 4 ‘just in time’ by telling his Twitter followers that he moved to Sussex for Christmas

Spencer has spoken out against lockdown restrictions in place on Twitter and told his followers his sanity has ‘taken a beating’ this year during the coronavirus pandemic

He wrote: “I consider myself mentally strong and even my sanity has been beaten this year Millions will be in a much worse place Disgusting what this dictatorship is doing”

Following his tweet with a photo from his backyard at his home in Sussex, Spencer said: “On the plus side Level 2 isn’t too bad”

He is one of Piers’ three sons from the star’s previous marriage to ex-wife Marion Shalloe – The Good Morning Britain Piers presenter is also the father of 23-year-old Stanley and Albert, 20 years

In tweeting following the new restrictions on Saturday, the TV star told fans he was “done with 2020”

Piers teased: ‘A new mutant covid is rampaging, Arsenal continues to lose, the terrible reality of Brexit is looming, Trump is still pulling his toys out of the pram, Christmas is canned and everyone on Twitter has gone completely nuts – including me I’m done with 2020, see you in 2021 “

He was recently forced to apologize for forgetting to wear a face mask, after being seen without a protective cover in a taxi

Speaking on GMB, Piers responded to his mistake by saying: “I came out of a really good dinner in Mayfair with my wife if only she had reminded me to put mine

“I had a friendly chat with the paparazzi, [they said] ‘it’s a tough year where we don’t make money, there are no parties, there are no launches, very few celebrities “” I went, “Sorry guys, it’s just me” We all laughed…

“And then of course I got in the cab after being distracted by my conversation with the paparazzi and they immediately came down like a bundle. I lit the cabin with flash bulbs and that’s just walking away that I realized that I had forgotten to put on my mask and that I therefore referred to myself as Covidiot “

Raising his hands, Piers added: “No apologies, he’s a good police gov… I put it on a few seconds later, I was nailed, it was too late and I can’t than excuse me”
