Ebene News – UA – Julimar’s neighbor Pursuit Minerals reports powerful drivers after aerial investigation

Interpretation of preliminary results from airborne electromagnetic (EM) surveys conducted by Pursuit Minerals (ASX: PUR) in its Warrior project showed five strong conductors with “the potential to be due to mineralization of platinum group elements (PGE) -nickel-copper ”

The conductors were located on the Calingiri East exploration permit in the 593 km2 Warrior project, which is within 50 km of the large PGE-nickel-copper discovery on the Gonneville prospect which is part of of the discovery of Julimar which made the headlines in the last year by Chalice Mining (ASX: CHN)

Pursuit says that “late” (ie stronger) conductors are associated with magnetic anomalies interpreted to be due to mafic or ultramafic intrusive rocks

As a result, the Calingiri East survey block was extended to the west and south

This additional data is expected to be processed by mid-April and will be followed by ground programs, with drill tests to be carried out during the June and September quarters

CEO Mark Freeman said the work has shown how airborne EM surveys for PGE-nickel-copper exploration can enable rapid progress of projects and generate highly prospective targets for drill testing

Pursuit noted that the western margin of the Archean Yilgarn craton is “highly prospective” for PGE, nickel and copper sulphide mineralization

The announcement of Julimar’s discovery last year was the first significant find of these elements in the region

“These mafic-ultramafic intrusions that host the PGE-Ni-Cu mineralization from Chalice are much more widespread than previously thought throughout the western margin of the Yilgarn craton and appear to be present at Calingiri East,” a declared the company

The Airborne Warrior EM survey was designed to locate conductors associated with massive sulphide mineralization
