Kate Middleton and Prince William are both senior royals When seen together, a body language expert suggested their relationship was different from other ‘long-time married couples’

Prince William is second to the British throne and Kate has taken on many royal responsibilities after her marriage

The couple have often attended engagements together, either in person or virtually due to the coronavirus lockdown

She said: “Although Kate and William’s PDAs were rare and subtle, their unbiased mirror features, more subtle tie signs, and fun competitiveness showed more dimensions in terms of romantic affection.

“Cambridge PDAs grew over time, but their initial masking was probably more due to William’s passionate desire to avoid the kind of soap opera that surrounded his parents’ wedding”

Showing affection is rare for many royals, and Judi explained it’s unusual for couples who have been together for as many years as the Cambridges.

“For a longtime married couple, their connection signals make them appear even more openly romantic together than usual,” the expert told Expressco UK

“In public, William stays close to Kate and often gently guides her past him, showing that he is proud of his wife with rare public affection”

Since her marriage to Prince William, Kate has become a popular member of the royal family in her own right

The Duke of Cambridge’s recent body language with his wife might suggest he’s proud of her, Judi continued

She said: “William’s hand gestures suggest he is gently pushing Kate forward with a sense of pride and awe

As Prince William shows his “pride” with his wife, the expert suggested that the two royals have shown genuine happiness and affection

Judi said: “Kate’s excited eye expression and broad dimpled smile suggest genuine and congruent pleasure in being in the company of her husband

“His radiant and sometimes slightly shy smile, as well as his soft features suggest that he is very happy in love”

Judi explained that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appear to be in sync and appear to be a royal ‘powerful couple’

“It is their facial expressions as well as their mirroring and rituals of intense and mutual attention that suggest that they also present themselves as members of the romantic royal family,” she continued. p>

The line of succession to the British throne dictates the order in which each member of the royal family would ascend to the throne

It is also considered a ranking of importance with the leader of the line, the queen, taking the place of the ruler

Older children come before younger children Traditionally, boys came before girls, but this law was changed on March 26, 2015 before the birth of Prince William’s first child

Incredibly, Catholics are still excluded from the line of succession, as are children born out of wedlock

Members of the royal family, who usually follow strict protocol when appearing in public, often arrive at events in ascending order of importance, with the most important royal arriving last

Prince Charles, 72, is currently first to the British throne, followed by Prince William, 38, his eldest son

Next are Prince William’s children George, seven, Charlotte, five, and Louis, two, followed by Prince Harry, 36 Prince Harry succeeds his son Archie Harrison, born in May 2019
